NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS
When can nonprofit organizations apply to receive toys?
Nonprofit organization applications will be accepted from September 15 through November 15, 2026.
Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted unless the organization has a unique or extenuating circumstance. In those situations, please contact one of our Points of Contact to determine whether additional assistance may be available.
How are nonprofit organizations selected to receive toys?
Similar to previous years, nonprofit organizations will be selected and approved through a random lottery system.
Will there be a waitlist?
Yes. For the 2026 campaign, we will implement a waitlist for the final day of toy distribution. Organizations placed on the waitlist may be randomly selected to receive toys on the final day.
Due to the short turnaround time, organizations selected from the waitlist must be prepared and available to pick up their toys on the designated day. The pickup timeline will not be extended.
When will nonprofit organizations be notified of their application status?
Organizations will be notified of their application status by November 24, 2026.
If you do not receive an email by this date, please check your spam or junk folder. If you still have not received an update, please contact one of the Points of Contact below.
What are the requirements for nonprofit toy pickup?
All selected organizations must:
-
Have an appropriate vehicle capable of safely transporting their assigned toys.
-
Collect their entire allocation in one trip. Multiple trips cannot be accommodated.
-
Pick up their toys within their assigned timeframe.
Can I contact Toys for Tots multiple times about my application or waitlist status?
We kindly ask organizations to limit inquiries regarding their application or waitlist status to no more than three contacts.
The selection process is conducted at random. Multiple inquiries will not affect the outcome or increase the likelihood of selection.
While we strive to support as many nonprofit organizations as possible, the families we serve remain our priority.
